Who has moved from the West to the Midwest or East?

I grew up hunting mule deer in Redlands, SanBernadino, LosAngeles Nat. forest in So.Cal. Too hot, but great long shots for high power rifle. Now It's all about close up still hunting white tails and yes even Elk with my self bow in the cool, some times cold woods of NW Arkansas I will never go back west ... except mabye for a sheep
