I've been visiting this site for about 2 weeks now and the info has helped me quite a bit. I'm not new to trad but haven't hunted with my recurve yet. I put the compound down and bought my first recurve about 3 years ago. Been shooting only at paper but this year I am ready to go hunting again.
I have picked up great tips like sharpening broadheads to type of head to camping arrangements and so many more helpful tips. Just wanted to say thanks.
I retired from active duty AF 3 years ago and get to hunt pretty much when I want to. AR has tons of public land open to bow hunting only and that is good because private land generally costs more than I can afford.
Anyway thanks for the tips and I'm sure I'll learn much more along with just sharing stories with others with the same interests.
