yep..that helps....youre probably too stiff...heres some ideas to try.
1.raise your braceheight a tad...that will make a stiff arrow act weaker
2.add point weight
3.go to a lighter spined shaft or shoot a longer shaft of the same spine..
4.raising nock height can help clean up some shelf contact
5.or leave your nock where it is and shoot cock feather in..that can give better clearance too..
6.shooting fastflight instead of b50 will make an stiff arrow act weaker.

Are your arrows going where you want them. If so, they're not spined too heavy. If anything they're probably a little light. Regardless, the kick could be caused by a too low brace height. A bad release will also do it.

If you got nock left on a lefthanded bow, that means the spine is too strong. Put a heavier head on the arrow, should weaken up a bit.

I raised the nock point and that helped, but I'm still getting some nock kick, I'll get some heavier points

Ian, what are the arrows your shooting woodies or carbon?
If your draw is 29, and your arrows are 29...you might be flexing the arrow with your draw.

i like .5" to 1" longer arrows than my draw, but that's for carbon and aluminum arrows. I have no experience with wood.
