Whisperstik or thunder stick
« on: August 07, 2008, 10:29:00 PM »
Well I think I have my search for a custom bow narrowed down to two. The thunder stick moab or mag in 60" or a whisperstik mojo stick. I dont know which one to choose!!
They both look good and have heard good things just need some opinions. I'm looking for a smooth drawing bow that i can shoot in tight places like a pop up blind. A shrew calssic hunter was my other choice but cant wait a year.

Scott,
56" Whisperstik Mojo, as quiet as any longbow with the speed of a recurve. One heck of a bow for the money.

your comparing two very different bows with different grips...
Which one fits your hand better and do you shoot better?

Both are great bows, but after shooting both...I have to say ThunderStick MOAB for me.

I have a Thunderstick Longbow and it is by far my favorite longbow. I just got a Whisperstick last fall and I sold off my black widow, bighorn, kodiak, as it is the only recurve I need. That is the smoothest shooting bow and Jim is great to deal with. Scott

This is a 6 in one, 1/2 dozen in the other.  Both are good folks and both bows are outstanding.  I had a great shooting year on deer a couple of years ago with a Moab before the original owner convinced me he wanted to buy it back.  I got a chance to shoot a Mojostik this summer and it was a very nice shooter too.

I have a really smooth and flat shooting 60" Thunderstick Mag.  Can't go wrong there, but I've never shot a Whisperstick to compare.
