Bleeder Blade Slots?

Anybody ever cut their own...

I've thought about doing some Stos heads and fit them with bleeders...  I love 4 blade heads...

Curious as to what to use as the slot is so thin or if it can even be done...

You can use a dremel tool with a small cutting wheel. I have done it before, its not that hard just make sure you cut the slots as close to a 90 degree angle to the main blade that you can. I wasnt paying attention on one I cut and it flew real wacky! LOL

I suggest to use a diamond disc with a dremel - and not a fibre disc/wheel - because they are prone to break easily and produce to big a slot anyways.
Other then that it is fairly easy to do ...

I have slotted a couple and had a hard time getting them as straight as I wanted.Sure wish they would sell them ready for bleeders.Would love to be able to get them with small bleeders like the stingers.It would be a super broadhead then that would leave a little more blood on the ground.

I sure wish they would as well James... I think that would be about the perfect head...

Thanks for the thoughts... that was what was rolling around in my head, but I don't have a dremel tool yet...

Been thinking of trying this with some 160 gr Magnus heads. I dont know why they only offer the 1 1/2" wide 4 blade version as a 150. I dont see why they cant cut the slots in some 160's the same way they do in the 135's. It would make a 175ish grain head with thicker steel in the point.

 Need to go shopping for Dremel stuff I think.

I have some 2 inch wide, 200 gr Aces I've been thinking of doing??? MAN!!!! what a hole that would make!!What are the biggest bleeders on the market today???

I thought they were 2 inches til I looked up their website just aminute ago. got 6 of them but ain't used them yet. My buddy said they make my wood arrows look like boat paddles..
