moving to Richmond, KY, who's near by?
« on: January 01, 2007, 10:59:00 PM »
I'll be moving to Richmond, Kentucky in late July or early August. I was wondering if there are any Trad Gangers near there. It sure would be nice to have someone to shoot with and help me get familiar with the area.

Just be sure and come to the KTBA shoots in Harrodsburg starting later this month. I live a pretty good ways from Richmond but there are several from that area. They should chime in at some point. ktbaonline.com
She said " did you see that?" He said "Of course!!!" She said " Why did you step in it then?"

Hi Guys,
The KTBA shoots look great. I will definitely be attending those.

My wife just accepted a job teaching at Eastern Kentucky University. She starts in the fall. I work from home for a company based in Missouri, so I can live just about anywhere.

I am really looking forward to Kentucky. I'm from Missouri, but we have been in Texas for a few years. The people here are great, but the hunting situation is alot different than what I was used to in Missouri. I think Kentucky will be similar to what I'm used to. Thanks for the replies. I look forward to meeting you guys at the shoots.

Hey Greg,
How could I forget the man with the fastest knife in all of Kodiak! Guys, if you're ever getting circled by a Kodiak bear while quartering a blacktail, Greg is the man you want to have with you. Once I get Kentucky scouted out (hopefully with the help of these nice guys and gals), you'll have to come down.

p.s.
Do you think you could make it for a week of Missouri Whitetails this October?

I live in Richmond.  If you need any info or anything else, just ask.  I know where the KTBA is as well as most other clubs in the area.  Even know a couple more trad shooters who live real close.  Keep us posted and welcome to KY..

Thanks for posting, everybody. I am really looking forward to the move. It looks like I only need to be in the state for 30 days to get a resident license, so I should be all set for fall deer and turkey. Thanks again everybody, I look forward to meeting you all
