Any interest in a selfbow forum???
«
on:

I've always wanted the selfbow stuff here on the PowWow to get more exposure, but the knife forum has really done well, so I thought I put it out here to see if there is any interest in a selfbow forum...or a bow building forum in general....which would include selfbows, lambows, and glass backed bows.
Wanna keep them on the PowWow, or have a forum designated?
Should it include all trad bows or just selfbows?
What say ye?

I think it might be a good idea. Seems like there used to be more bow building threads, but not as many lately. I wondered if they had gone to other more specific forums, but don't really know - I haven't gone looking.
Anyway, it does seem like the people who build bows are WAY into it, and they might really appreciate a seperate forum where they gan get into all the details and share knowledge. And I don't think much would be lost by moving it out of Pow Wow. I think people pretty much just skip those threads if they don't have an interest anyway. Those with interest will know where to go, just like we do with knives.

Good idea. I like this site because of the different forums. Easier to find a topic one might be interested in.
