Robertson Bow with Pierce Points
« on: August 17, 2008, 03:02:00 PM »
Just wondering if anyone had some pictures of a Robertson bow , any model but specifically a falcon, with the Pierce points in the riser. The ones I have seen sure are pretty.

Doghancer,

Don't you have enought bows already? You're just gonna talk yourself into ordering one! OR, now that you are building you're own bows, you may be thinkin of copy cat-ting! Which is it?

Biggie does not knoweth of what he speaks. "Slick Beaver" made 2 trips to Africa and has a great track record! Unfortunately the Booner is all he seems to remember! Hell, me too, I'll never forget.

Man Biggie, you are tough on a guy. No the ole' red hartebeest did not die by my arrow, barely even slowed him down. But , it wasn't the bows fault!

Have your fun fella's, you'll both be back and I am the buggy driver! Don't forget who put you on 'em!

Dick Robertson is my favorite bowyer. If I could make bows like him, I'd quit my day job selling pressed wood! Hogdancer it would make your collection to own a Falcon Pierce Point. Just call Dick and order one. You'll be extremely pleased with the bow PLUS it will probably be your first bow with YOUR name on it.....

Jokes on you now hogdancer...Dick and Yote are sheep hunting in Alaska. Now you'll have to wait a few weeks more.
Joebuck, your Swamprooters would sell like boiled peanuts. In no time at all you'd have orders for 50 bows. Dick Robertson is a master bowyer, but you could be too. Think about that while you're trying to convince someone that your pressboard warranty does not cover the house burning down. Then think about what Dick is doing right now  :-)

Wow Joebuck, he put it on you! You are one talented bowyer. Your bow is the only bow I'll shoot other than Robertson's. I have several of them.
Doghancer- If you send all those used bows back, they'll scratch YOUR name on 'em for a fee.

I'll get in early to avoid the rush.  Put me down for a Swamprooter as soon as you quit your day job Joey.  :readit:    ;)

WHip, just don't let Marty give you advise on how to string it. Biggie, can't order one now anyway I have to help Joebuck drag out his raghorn elk next month so I don't need to order a new bow right now.  It's a little fuzzy but that is my name on that bow, and it's not on a zebra skin rug !

Thomas I'am not sure why you would want any other bow Dick's or anyone elses...for my money...I say your home-made model take down I shot while we were bar hunting in Que'bec..shoots as good if not better, smoother to draw and maybe a bit faster then some I've shot....you don't need no stinken new bow....your bows shoot great and seem to get the job done purty well if menory serves my correctly.......bowdoc
