Thanks in advance.

I've used them all. Seal skin is hard to beat, but velcro and leather are much cheaper.

I like the seal skin. It wears very well and I can get 5 rests trimmed from the 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 patch. Leather on the side plate.

I only have seal skin on the rests of my bows. It is just something I like. Can't say it is any better than anything else.

I use velcro mostly. Main reasons are because it is functional, cheap, and available at many places.

I suppose it's a silly question, but with the velcro do you use the hooks or the loops? (hard vs fuzzy)

Sealskin with a slit cut in it and placed over a Hoyt Super Rest, disguising it. Seriously. If you get some of the lighter-colored sealskin, the rest is almost entirely disguised. And you'll be amazed at the arrow flight.

Thanks everyone for the tip on the velcro!!
I tried it tonight, it works great! And saved me the 5 bucks from the shop for a "bear hair" rest.
