This week my neice and nephew (ages 8 and 9) were up for a visit. One of the first questions my nephew asks every time he is up is if we can make an arrow. With just a little help he does a great job. They left today and after I got home from work tonight, my 4 yr old daughter asked if she could make an arrow. We spent some quality time together out in the shop making her own arrow. She chose the colors, created the cresting design and did the cresting herself.
It doesn't get much more rewarding than passing on such a positive pastime as traditional archery to the next generation. Thanks to all the mentors on this site that have passed on all the knowledge and advice to make this possible.
