im kind of a sharpening nut and used to sharpen the tips of my muzzys as well.  now i have some evidence that what i was doing was not just crazy
Silence over speed.  Heavier arrows never hurt.

Very good work and food for thought. Did you test your home made single bevel head or any single beveled heads?

how sharp are the older two blades here?  It showing that a woodsman will pierce quicker than a razorhead.   what it does after that is a different story.  Thanks, dan

Question:  Would creating a second angle on the points of 3 blade heads-Wensels, VPA, Snuffer, etc-keep the tips from curling?  Altering the tips to look like Magnus photo to prevent the ending up like the Razorcap photo.

I have reshaped the points of my practice Snuffers after they found a rock or piece of metal, but never hunted with them.
