Gonna be in St.Louis
« on: August 25, 2008, 10:32:00 PM »
I'm gonna be in St. Louis this coming weekend and would like to know if anyone wants to hook up and shoot and B.S for a while.  My parents live in Maryland Hgts.  about 2 miles from Creve Coeur Park.  Could meet at Greensfelder(Creve Coeur Park) or Busch Wildlife (never shot there) or even Jeff Barracks(been there once along time ago) Maybe Saturday or Sunday?

Let me know  :saywhat:

Can't beleive a few guys haven't chimed in. I will be out of town. Might try Town Hall Archery in Belleville, IL. Not too terribly far for you. Sat morn from about 9 to 11 or so a bunch of trad giuys shoot. Indoor range

Brian, Your reputation for shooting has preceded you. No one in St. Louis wants you to embarrass them. All of us in the KC. area hang our heads when we know we're going to be shooting with you, we are not even worthy of caring your quiver! (grin)  Ben

TTT for my friend Brian.

Come on St Louis Traditional Hunters Show us Kansas City boys what you’ve got. My money is on Brian.

Travel safe buddy and I’ll contact you when you get back so we can shoot. I think St Joe has one more shoot before hunting season starts.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I'm flattered.  Guess everyone has plans since its a long weekend, and dove season on monday which I might tote along the shotgun if I got time monday morning.

Well I still got 2 more days to get a response, where are all you St. Louis boys at?

Oh, by the way I'm a transplant from St. Louis infiltrating the K.C. area.  Go Cards, Rams!!!

Oh come on Brian, I want to see you take a dove with bow and arrow. Leave the shotgun at home.   :D

Yeah, I guess your right Bill.  You think I should use an Ashby Arrow or just slap some monster Snuffer on my arrows?

Joe Holden if you can get a ride to one of the ranges that would be cool.  I'd probably offer to pick you up, but your parents would probably think I was some kind of pedaphile(lol).

The snuffer should do the trick. I doubt if penetration will be a problem.

18 miles into IL across the river downtown. I have shot with the guys at Busch. The Buffalo Tongue gang. If you go be careful. They have been there a million times and will con you into shooting rocks and other hard objects that don't look hard. They love it when they get you to break an arrow! Don'tell them I told   :)
