I'm going to make me a Torges tree seat and wanted to know what sizes work well for big guys.

I have made several that were 12"x12",I'm 5'10 and 190#. I think 14"x14" or 16"x16" should do the trick. If bigger means heavier, just drill some holes with a hole saw to reduce the weight.

I made one with 3/8 ply wood and it broke in half!! made nother from 1/2" and put an extra strip under the midde and it still works. 250 lbs
