Torges seat modification help?
« on: August 26, 2008, 11:07:00 AM »
I know this subject has been talked about on here a lot, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for.  A while back someone posted a picture of a Torges seat that used a prussic knot on one side of it.  I've searched and searched and can't seem to find that photo anywhere.  Not sure if it's not being displayed through PhotoBucket or what, but could whoever posted that photo before please post it again?  I would really appreciate it.  I'm going to put a couple together this weekend and wanted to try some options besides the original design.  Thanks in advance.

Aaron

Seems that thread was removed or lost.  Found lots of links to it but it says thread does not exist. This thread has pictures of a different solution and some other ideas as well.

If I get a chance and no ones posted a pic I'll try and put one up of my setup w/ prussic knot.

Here's a recent thread with a pic of a Torges seat with a  prusik (aka "prussik" aka "prussic") knot .
