New Zealand Red Stag
«

I purchased a New Zealand Red Stag hunt at a safari Club Banquet auction in the fall of 2007. The hunt is for 2 guys for 6 days 2x1 with a reduced gold medal stag or Fallow deer trophy fee of $2500 each for 2 stags or 2 deer. Here's my dilema, I have been battling Lyme disease for over 3 years and am still in poor health and it doesn't look like I will be well enough to be able to make the march 8-15th 2009 hunt dates. I paid $2500 for the hunt and an looking for a couple of guys to take it off my hands for what I have into it. This would be a hunt of a lifetime for someone. Extra days can be purchased for $225 per day per hunter and other game is available. This is a great price as this outfitter is currently getting over $500 per day per hunter and the gold medal trophy fee is $6500+ per animal. If anyone is interested, you can email me at
[email protected]
or call me at 406-864-2888. We can discuss any questions at that time.

I hope you sell off your hunt jon, and sorry to hear about the Lymes disease.
Just as a matter of interest where abouts in NZ is the hunt? Even though I live in Australia now, I grew up in New Zealand and my heart is still there. After travelling over the world quite a bit I still reckon it is the most beautiful country on earth.

Sutto,
The hunt is with New Zealand Trophy Hunting. The hunt is to take place near Mt. Nichols after flying into Christ Church.

Thanks Jon. The Sth Island of NZ sure is a beautifual place. When you drive around the countryside you start to think "where are all the people"? The majority of the population of NZ live in the North Island (the total pop is only 4 million) so you can imagine not too many folks in the sth Island (and I think it is the bigger island).
That is the comment I have heard from many Europeans "where is everybody"?
Whoever buys your hunt Jon won't have to worry about overcrowding!!
