I own one and have used it the last couple seasons. I think it is worth every penny. I don't ever go into the early season deer woods without it.

Get one and try it, you can always trade it off if it's not for you. But I bet it'll surprise you how well it works. I won't be without one, anymore.

Our state bird is the mosquito. :D They work very well here, so I am positive they will work anywhere. Best money I ever spent! I've had both boar and deer under my stand. They don't seem to be spooked by the scent.

I hunt river bottoms that are filled with skeeters and the therma cell does the trick. I wouldn't go without it.
I do hunt from a tree stand but don't know how it would do if you were roaming around on the ground.

Thermacell is better than garlic and silver bullets for keeping the blood suckers at bay. I was a huge skeptic until last fall.
I will not leave camp without one (or two) during our early season. And carry at least one no matter how cold or dry it gets.
My "early" season begins on Sep 20th, probably in the 90's and rain on the Florida Gulf coast.

They're worth alot more than they sell for. Best mosquito repellant I have EVER used. I keep mine on my backpack in the holster accessory and hang my pack on the upwind side of the stand, just below the seat.
Don't leave home wothout it

One of the few products that I have ever seen that perform better than advertized.
