My new Orion
« on: September 03, 2008, 07:40:00 PM »
Over the weekend I received a new bow in the mail.  I called up up Mike at Dryad Bows last week to order an Orion recurve and did just that.  But I also got this one that they had in stock.  Mike told be about the Safari Tuff bow cases that they had and I've been wanting one so I asked for one of those too.

Specs are 58" 53#@28" boo cores.  It's a really sweet shooter.  Spits out my arrows as fast as my heavier # bows, draws really smooth and it's quite.  At my 29" draw I have no problems with finger pinch.  If I remember correctly, this was their first camo dipped bow and I really like it!

Hee-hee!  I love mine too!  I'll be hitting the woods with mine this season.

Awesome looking bow!  If it shoots half as mean as it looks, that thing'll smoke!

Danny, I remember reading about your bow and it helped tip the scales in favor of the recurve.  I had an Orion with the longbow limbs and they are really nice too.    I

Yep, the Orion 'curves are real nice....

Didn't know they had the Safari Tuff cases, gonna have to snag one of those....

Yep that's our first camo dip bow.  But definately not our last.  We love the look and the finish.  We are going to be doing some real cool all camo one and three pieces this winter.

Also if you are ordering a bow and want camo, let us know.
