That's what it's all about there Curt!
I've had my kids camping with us since they were babies.. Just sent my oldest to College this past weekend.
All I can say is remember these times.. They'll be something to hold onto when the kids leave the house..

Awesome! The great outdoors have more meaning to me since I have been taking my daughters and son on my trips with me.  Even the short bird hunts, or tree stand ventures are more enjoyable with them.  Great job Curt, and look forward to more.

Curt,
you are doing good.....real good!
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Those are great pics, enjoy it, they grow up SO fast. I look back at pics like those with my boys, my oldest is now 16, and my youngest approaching 10. I truly have a family of bowhunters now, but still shake my head at how fast they grow.

I remember my oldest boy, when he was jsut 4 or 5 tagging along on my hunts with me, wondering if the sound he heard was a grizzly bear ( in Michigan LOL)

Huntin, fishin, campin, or just stompin in the woods are activities kids will always recount as they grow older. Watching them learn, then as they get older, watching them put into practice all of those little lessons makes ya feel good inside.

Wait till you share in the success of his first hunt..... will make ya feel good inside.
...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

Curt- well done. I have three sons and we had a lot of days like those and they remember every one of them. So does Dad. You'll never do anything greater- it's a lot easier to raise a child than to fix an adult, doncha think?    Grant

Thanx everyone...it truly was an awesome weekend for us...we're both still very excited about Cade's first night in a tent. He lasted only 11 minutes last year in the backyard!

Killy, That's exactly what we did yesterday...scrumptious!!!!   :help:    :goldtooth:
