I haven't been around here much lately, but the last few years I've been pretty active here and in traditional bow hunting.

About a year ago a job change, and a subsequent promotion, caused my favorite pastime to suffer.

I am ashamed to say that I have only picked up my bow once or twice since last deer season...    However, that's about to change!!!!  

Completely without my knowledge my Dad conspired with Mike and Jason Westvang to present me with the most extraordinary gift I've ever received!

This morning a package was delivered to my desk at work and packed within was a brand new 3-Piece Dryad Orion -- and I am utterly speechless!

I just can't say enough good things about Mike and Jason and their bows!  

There are others here that can attest to the fact that they are extraordinary guys who put out an incredible product.

From the bottom of my heart I want to say a BIG BIG BIG THANKS to Mike and Jason and my Dad.

McCall...had a football coach named McCall once Great man. idk where he is at in today's world...

beautiful bow! i like how dark it is! the grain is amazing!

Tony failed to mention that he has newly became pastor of a church near here. He is out tonight taking care of business and asked me to put a few more pictures of the site so here goes.

 

Tony's first shot from the new bow. I might add that the bow is great looking in the pictures he has already posted, but that can't hold a candle to how it looks in real life.

 

Yours truly getting a turn at it.

 

A typical group from the new bow. Notice most of the shots are a little high. This is "imo" due to the extra speed of this bow.

I am impatiently waiting for my new bow to arrive. Hopefully it will be here tomorrow.

Thanks Tony!!  It is a pretty one for sure.  I fall in love with the dang things before they get out of here.  Yours and your dad's were two of the best wood combos we have done.

FYI  It's Pau Santo and Bocote.

Beautiful BOW!!!  I love the Orion, someday I'll have one, but yours is amazing.  The limb lams are killer!


All the posts about Dryad bows are killing me.  October will be here soon enough, then mine will be in...
