I'm very sorry for those who lost money. This happened to me a few years ago with Arthur Talon up there. I can't even find that scoundral. Just another bad mark for caribou hunting out of Quebec. Hopefully a word of warning to those who want to hunt caribou. Study hard before you send you hard earned money to Quebec. That's why I ended up going to North West Territories. More money but at least you get a chance. jGood luck in getting your money back.

I recieved an official phone call from Tuttulik's rep Harry Makis. He affirmed that Tuttulik has shutdown opperations to reorganize. And seemed hopeful that they would honor our hunts in the future.I guess I will just stay optimistic and hope for the best.I would hate to have his job informing some mad hunters of a situation like this.He did give me his number and told me to call anytime and that he would inform me of any updates.souds like a good guy caught in the middle of a bad thing.  :campfire:

I'm with Pip - I have sworn off another Quebec caribou hunt. It's just not what it used to be regardless of who you hunt with.

All I can say is Wow!  I've done alot of research looking for a caribou outfitter for a hunt in the next few years and pick Tuttulik's as best for my needs.  I guess you just never know........

Hope all caught up in this mess have right done by them.

I know if I was them boys, I'd sure do whatever it took to pay the money back. I would hate to owe Border Bob and the Hill Boy!  :scared:    :biglaugh:

I do hope they honor your hunt dates in the future.

I was going to Quebec to hunt. I am glad that other hunts had to come before I booked the Quebec trip.

Now I am going to NWT to chase caribou...

Sure glad I heard this now, as I was looking at Quebec caribou for 2009.  No thanks.
