Late August hunt at Hog Heaven-slots open in Oct/Nov

We had the pleasure of having Chris and Bob Ott from Long Island New York as well as Mark "OBX Archer" from NC with us late last month.

There were a few mmmmmmmmmmisses...and some real close calls...and one got to ride home with Mark to NC where I am sure it has been consumed by now!

That reminds me of the old joke about that special pig that only had three legs, and when the farmer was prodded about why the pig was missing a limb he answered " You wouldnt expect me to eat a special pig like THAT all at once, would you?"

Anyway, the big hogs are trying their dead-level best to get killed, but we're just not gettin' the job done. Sooner or later we'll have to get someone in here who can keep it together inside 10 yards face to face with a large black PIG!!

One fella was CERTAIN that what he saw near dusk on a field edge was a HUGE black bear....but I can tell you that son, was a P I G  Hawg!!!!!

about 99 percent of ours are solid black, maybe a few roan colored ones too. These multi colored pigs are seen, but not often.

Hope everyone had a good time.

Looking forward to our October hunts- Lin Rhea and his young son are coming October 3,4, 5. We have a couple slots open that weekend if you are interested get in touch with me 678-300-2883.

We also have two slots open Nov 21,22,23 MikeCC from UTAH, and here on TG is booked with his wife that weekend...

There are no traditional bowhunters in GAY, GA slasher.

Only interior decorators, ballet dancers, and wedding planners.  Very exclusive community.

Now if'n you can't keep it together with them big hogs, just tell ol' Ray any bowhunter can hit a big un so you're gonna hold out for one of them smaller, more challenging critters.  If he don't buy that then tell him you came just to practice for your up coming Texas javi hunt and are looking for a more life size target.  And if that don't do it just fall back on the "little ones taste better" clause.   :thumbsup:

It's a great hunt and you guys that are used to midwest whitetail hunting really owe it to yourselves to get down and check it out. It's a blast!!
