UK; There is a few shoots with-in an hours drive from Bella Vista. My favorite, which I try not to miss any of the shoots, is in Greenland AR. A man that goes by "Wild Bill" (Bill Cooksey) runs the shoot. He was a 2-time state champ at one time and he puts on the best Traditional shoot I have been to! Lots of real-life hunting shots-Your going to love it!  Does your wife-to-be like to shoot archery? I have a feeling you'll fit in just fine with the local Trad family out here. Look forward to meeting you.... Terry
Oh yea.....There is a lot of deer in Bella Vista and not many archers to pursue them. Archery is the only method allowed!!!  :bigsmyl:

Here I am in one of my favorite places in the world...

Here is me and the Wrecking Crew on an Easter egg hunt, we kinda had that one cornered!

My bride to be getting in on the hunt

...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

Ozark, I taught her to shoot when I was there last year and she is a natural. I bought her an old Indian bow off of Ebay and I am in the process of making some pretty girly arrows for her. I just fell in love with the countryside and did manage to see some whitetail up close too.

Best I've got, a pic with this weeks favorite bow, and one with my son, but it's about 2 years old.  VB

Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

Here's one of my son, Travis (on the left), and myself at the top of Warrior Hill in Canada's Quetico Park.

Here is one I treasure that was taken of Kildeer and me at the Baltimore Traditional Archers Classic Shoot this Spring. Sort of a Two for the price of one -   ;)

Here's one of my wife's favorite pictures of me.  She loves the bad ones LOL... as for the orange suit, long story.

I don't have many pictures of my wife and I.  We just never get photographed LOL. So here's an old one (8 years... doesn't seem that long), a wedding picture of us.  I chopped all the hair off when I had some sucked into a powerdrill at work.  It's still gone LOL.

When life's good, it sometimes looks like this:  The Mackenzie river during the brown drake hatch

Some day, I'll have some hunting pictures to show off... or at least my driveway strawbale shooting range LOL.

Well this one was killed with a handgun, but I don't have any pics of my traditional bow kills (which aren't many).
