Sorry, don't know how to post pics!  I will take my 66inch Dwyer longbow with 600 grain beman hunters with 220 grain muzzy upfront.  Bow is 43.7 @ 28, I draw 30.5 inches ~ shoot 50 pounds-ish I guess.

Hope to drop one this Saturday.  Good luck to all.

Bob.

For 2008, at least the half before gun season. I'm going old school to honor Earl and Ann Hoyt. I have set the bow up just as it was hunting in the early 1970's, sans an actual sight pin. The sight bracket is installed on the bow. Actually I am afraid to try and remove it.

1968 Hoyt Pro Medalist Hunter- 50# using POC with Zwickey's shot off of a Neet Pro Rest (which looks exactly like the pro rest sold by Hoyt years ago). I have a 1970 Hoyt catalog for reference.  Earl made a great bow in St. Louis, Missouri.

I'm leaning toward my 53lb Blacktail recurve. It likes 2115's with some of the old green Bear Razorheads which gives me a 530 grain arrow.

I'll be using my HH Halfbreed (Chili Maker) 60@29 with some Easton XX75s that I'll probably be replacing after this season.  Broadheads will be Magnus 125 grain two-blades and squirrel/bunny arrows will be sporting Ace Hex Heads.

I'll be going afield with my favorite 1970 Howatt Hunter. I have painted it up camo to get rid of the shiny finish. I draw 31" and at my draw it's around 55#. I'm shooting full length tapered cedars built from Jim Curlee shafts. They are 4-fletched and are tipped with 125 gr. Zwickey Eskimos. I'll be carrying the arrows to my stand in a Catquiver 1.

I've owned a number of high end custom bows but pound for pound this old Howatt with a B-50 string seems to outperform most. I have a 66" Assenheimer in route and I may shoot this bow too if it suits me.

Either this Kempf Kwyk Styk or the new one that should be here from Canada tomorrow or the next day.  I had both custom made 58" 54@28.  I shoot tapered cedars from Elite Arrows with Magnus I, STOS, or WW

I love your bow, I also shoot an HS.

Have you had the bow long?  Where did you get it?
