First purchase on Tradgang-great experience
« on: February 26, 2007, 08:01:00 PM »
Most of my used trad. archery bow purchases have been on (famous auction site) and retailers.  I just received an Archery Traditions LongHunter from Shawn Leonard. This sale came through the Trad Gang Classifieds.  My payment and his bow crossed in the mail.  In other words, we trusted each other.  The bow is exactly what I wanted.  This has been a really good experience.  Thanks, Shawn!

This has been the best place for me to sell, exchange or get stuff from. I had a thread a while back about how getting gear from other hunters elsewhere in the world adds to my hunts. I beleive a certain amount of karma is sent with each item. Most of my equiptment has traveled more than me.LOL!
I think it also gives you the opportunity to meet new friends. For instance I met "Pops" last year when i bought a Thunderstick from him. We've exchanged bows, and had great conversations on here and over the phone. Speaking of, I just received a beautiful Northern Mist from him. We are planning on a bear hunt next year in Onatario, which I'm chomping at the bit to go on. If it hadn't been for this site, I may have never met him.  :clapper:
Just one more step please!

I've probably gotten 8 or so bows from the gang here and sold or traded just as many-and I'm not even a power shopper like some of these guys-and always had nothing but good deals and experiences here.I have a bow due soon from a member here--best people to deal with IMO

Same thing with me too.  I bought a Brack from Yohon and I got the bow the same day he got the MO.  I have yet to be dissapointed with a transaction on here!!  Lots of good, honest people here.

Yup, great people and great site. I have bought and traded more bows in 4 years on here than most people in a lifetime.(LOL!) It has given me the opportunity to shoot many bows that I would of never had the chance too! Shawn
