9-11-01 remember
«
on:
September 11, 2008, 08:27:00 AM »
I know this isn't just about hunting, But please remember those that lost their lives back on 9-11-01.. Some of them could have been hunters, some could have been trad bow hunters. All lost their lives on that DAY, All Will Remember that day.
Great Spirit watch over their Souls, let them know we all care. Keep their families safe & show them the light of Your love.

I'll never forgot that day...I know I'm a lucky guy.
I planned to be there that deadly day during my american holiday 7n years ago...but my flight delayed 24hrs...so I'm still here for another bowhunting season. My pray for the less lucky people that are no more with us.
Amen

God bless my fallen brothers who gave their lives 343.

To me, the total impact of this day is equal to the time when I was very young as I watched our service men and women coming home from Vietnam. I was so saddened and shocked at what I saw.
God Bless all our Brave service people for what they do for us in harms way and the call of duty no matter the cost.
Although I would like to not think this ever happened, I certainly will never forget and am forever greatful to the service of all who risk everything for others.

Honor those who were lost. Our way of life in this country is at risk. Those who think they can make us cower down in fear are wrong. Be proud of our military. As I hear all the names being read at Ground Zero it brings me back to the few days spent there working for the Medical Examiner. It WAS a war zone.
I Love The United States Of America! God Bless Us All! Seems to me that Shells signature sums it up well.

I visited the Twin Towers in the eighties, during a tourist journey (on the top floor of the North tower)
Like all people in Europe I can't help thinking about all the innocent people caught in this horrible and giant trap.
Human mind can invent such terrible things

I'm on active duty now at my Air NAtional Guard base and our unit is deploying today back to the sandbox. Kind of ironic... 9-11.
I'm sitting this one out but I get to see them off. There's a lot of young ones going that have never even been out of the country let alone in harms way. Keep all our troops, their families, and the families of those lost seven years ago today in your prayers.

Deadbolt- keep yourself and your Brothers/Sisters safe as you do your jobs.
I can understand your sentiment. I wish NONE of us had to remember such a day.
I hope none of us ever forget that evil is always looking at the innocent as fodder in it's hunt for power.
God Bless the lost, the rescued, their families, and U.S.

Tom, I understand what You mean. You & the others, that did that job. Did more then you thing. By pulling parts out you help the Souls be seen.
It's the honor you gave them, by doing that Job on that day. By being human enuff to wish You could forget is OK, But Give them the Honor of Remembering.

I am a schoolteacher and today my students are watching a video on the topic. It's easy to forget that these juniors and seniors in my classes were 9 or 10 maybe when this happened. We must never let people forget what happened, nor the nature of the evil that we are up against.
