Sept. 27 in the Northern Zone of NYS, across the street from my house, using unfilled tags from last year. Starting Oct. first, with this year's tags. But I just found out that I have to work next week end! I'm not ready anyway. Got to work to pay for this habit!

This Saturday Ian!
And like razorsharptokill said, I'm not ready either.
Spent most of this afternoon tying jute twine into a net to make a blind, still have to resharpen broadheads, pack, buy food, etc... and my hunt camp is only 45 min away.I've only had since last October to get ready!
Good luck this season.

Oregon's is all of september and it's TOO hot. I've been sweating my rear off with nothin to show for it except that deer can smell stinky sweaty guys easily.

Sept 27th here in northern NY, and I'm so ready, I feel like a mountain lion in those final seconds before it pounces on it's prey, I've been hunting squirrels to slow my self down to that preadtor mode, it helps some!!!
