Bow Cases
« on: September 20, 2008, 10:16:00 PM »
Can anyone recommend a good recurve bow case? I am leaning towards a hard case which would afford protection for my bow when on a boat trip or to strap on an ATV or snowmobile but these seem to have limited space for other items like arrows etc.

I would also consider a decent soft case where I could carry arrows, quiver, etc. but somewhat leery about how much protection these afford.

Looking at some of the items offered by 3 Rivers but cannot make up my mind.

Would appreciate some advice from the gang.

Thanks

Robert

I have an SKB single recurve case and It is without question the only type I would use especially if flying.

I used a Pelican for a trip to Africa. It carried 2 long bows, quiver, 18 arrows, broadheads and fieldpoints, camo paint and misc. odds and ends. Worked perfect. BW sell one for their bow but I bought one off the net and ordered the arrow holders from BW. Total cost less the $200.00.

I've used the hard case by Viking Voyager (sp)? twice flying to Canada. Great quality and even better protection for my recurves. Case holds two unstrung bows.

Mike has them at "The Nocking Point". His price was the best I could find and you do not have any "advertising" printed on your bow case buying from him.
