North Texas hunter here but frequent your state during the hunting season. Just passed through Durant on Saturday. Don't gamble, just hunt. Heck, I even root for the "Sooners" on occasion.

NE of Tulsa, in Claremore!
You are gonna want to mark off your calander for the third or so weekend of March. That is when the Oklahoma Selfbow... uhh, OJAM (not sure what the whole name actually is?) will take place. Come and build a bow, or just watch someone else build one and shoot some 3-D targets. Its a big campout situation, lots of fun!

OJAM--Oklahoma Selfbow Jamboree--Ya gotta go at least once. Here are a couple of links to the past events.

I haven't gotten this year's slide show put together yet. Had a motherboard failure and my software doesn't like the upgrade. I'll get something going though.

NE Oklahoma here, east of Miami.
You gotta make plans for OJAM. You'll love it. March 19-22, 2009 are the official dates for next year.
We'll have OJAM flyers at the primitive archery tent at the OK Wildlife Expo this weekend(Sept 26-28). Any of you guys that are close enough oughta try and make it out. It's quite a show.
