My new ebony Firefly TD longbow
« on: September 23, 2008, 02:30:00 PM »
She is 58" long, 57@28, 3/16" past center, macassar ebony handle with red stained actionwood accents. Bamboo cored juniper limbs.

Thought I would include pics of my bacote FF too for contrast. Ebony on the left except on the limb pic, thats the juniper on the left, bacote on right.

I put my own rests and strings on all my bows. They both have seal skin rest but the ebony has a big BW calfskin plate on it. I scratched the riser putting seal skin on for the plate and had to hide it.

Man - what can I say?  A nicer pair of bows I have not seen.

Great looking bows Jim, but the shelves are on the WRONG side.
