Serving Question
« on: September 23, 2008, 09:02:00 PM »
My serving on my string is getting loose. I shoot a lot of arrows daily and I noticed today some weird flight. I checked my nock point and noticed that it was moving on me. This is when I noticed my serving was loose making the nock move up the string ever so slightly! Is the a way to tighten this up or does it need to be reserved. The string is only 2 months old!

Thanks!

Joe, if it was mine, I would reserve the string.  Not sure why the serving is loose, unless you put a lot of twists in the string.
The work praises the man.

It sucks this is happening right in the beginning of my season! I was hoping it wouldn't come to having to reserve my string, I have never attempted it before! I put a couple of twists in it but not to many. It was measure from a string I had on it that was already stretched in so a lot of twists was not needed!

No worries man, easy fix with some practice you can easily learn how to reserve. Do a search, there may be a tutorial on the here that would help. I'll try to find it
