OK guys, I know how you like pictures of new bows. Here is my new 56" 53#@28" Vortex longbow. It certainly shoots as well as it looks. It is Cocobola with Rosewood veneers and boo limbs.

Hope you like it..... I do ;o)

nice!!!
cant wait to get mine - it'll also have the heel on the grip. 56" is pretty darn short - would you say its quick, and stable?

also do you have any pics of the strung, and unstrung profiles?   :goldtooth:

Bill--Nice bow.  I've got one similar 58" and 52#@28.  You're correct--they DO shoot as good as they look.

LeRoy--You mean there is a RER that you DON'T have?

philil, I did not take a picture as strung but I can.

Brian, I normally shoot a heavy riser Black Widow and ofcourse there is a difference with holding my bow arm with the mass weight being less on a 1pc. With that said, I find this bow to be fast and will stack the arrows. Speaking of stack for me there is none but I knew there would not be because I shot a 56" Vortex bow last year before I ordered mine. The grip is GREAT! That Cocbola and Rosewood really go together well. The riser overlays are perfect as are the limb tips. Not sure you all noticed but on the limb tips Kevin stained a fade of red across them... Very sweet.

The coin in the riser is the new RER logo coin. All bows made in form 2007 on will have the coin.
Scott Ya hard to belive but there is an RER bow I don't have.

I am getting one from a buddy to use in the blind this year. They are about the only short bows I care for.I think I am still going to get a 60" bow.It will fit in my blind and I can get a good deal on that one.  :)
