My new hunting buddy.
« on: September 25, 2008, 09:05:00 PM »
I had a son born last Sunday. I haven't been on here much lately and haven't got to practice much either, but I am still looking forward to getting my first trad kill this season. Here are a couple pics of my new little buddy Jesse:

Congrats.  Nice touch with the camo clothes.

My first was born last March and my wife just roles her eyes as I sit on the recliner paging through TBM or my Black Widow catalog with him.  It gets more enjoyable each day...Mike

My wife and I thank u all. That is sweet Slasher, I figure he was called by his name long before I could figure it out. I never will forget any of those feelings. Got a lot of camos for him up to 6 months. He'll have a lot more later too. I just got to get better at the whole thing to teach him those things.Haven't got anything with my bow yet. Congrats to you Mooseman76. We still need to catch up some time Roper. Buy him a bow, I plan to make him one and teach him to do it also. I agree, he is handsome, that is what I intend to do teach him young, I still got a lot I need to learn myself so that I can teach him, I think the best way to teach is by example.

Congratulations!!!!
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

He looks like a natural    Congratulations for the newborn and for the many adventures that you two will share in the outdoors, when you begin to take your son along you will see how much better the experience will be when you see it through his eyes.
