got home from school today and my new bear grizzly was sititng on the porch waiting for me
so me and a friend headed to my 3-d range before i shot the bow i took some pictures with an arrow on the shelf i had perfect feather clearance and a nice brace height after bout 20 shots the feather were on the shelf i had another spare 58" string put it on problem fixed i compared the strings about 1/4" difference in length is this much stretch common on a new string

Man you need some punctuation in that paragraph, I got lost.
Frankly, 1/4" isn't a lot of stretch. I would think it wouldn't go much farther than that. Just twist it up a bit and shoot some more.

I've had Dyno 97 strings stretch close to 5/8".. Don't worry about it. Keep it braced and keep shooting it. Adjust brace when needed.

Stretching "in" is absolutely normal. Adjust brace according to the specs, then find the sweet spot...

Yep, normal with any string. Just twist the string some back to the recommended brace.
When I put a new string on a bow, I twist it up enough to take it a bit above the normal brace and let it sit awhile, then check it and twist some more if needed. Once all the creep is out I let it sit braced over night and normally it is good to go from there.
