Kingwouldbe: That is one of the neatest pics I have seen. Thought it was just an arrow stuck in a tree (I have a couple pics of that myself) until I saw the red on the feathers. What kind of animal did you shoot?

Never told me you were a birdwatcher!  ;)

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

You folks take some fantastic pictures!!!!!!!!!1

I never think to use the camera most of the time when I'm out.  Not that there is much to see here in Kansas.

Lord please forgive me....not trad related. But this is a young man that I mentored a few years ago during a youth doe hunt. He now shoots a Allegheny Mountain bow and loves shooting sticks.  :thumbsup:

My youngest son Austin and I at the 2007 Great lakes Longbow Invitational.

I have many other pics of hunts etc. I never look at a picture to re-create the place. I use it to rekindle the embers in my memory, so that it will once again glow into a warm fire in my soul. I have many embers, too many to list.
...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

Missed a doe this morning, but took this picture. When you're hunting, it's all good!
