Custom Kodiak T/D
« on: September 29, 2008, 12:55:00 AM »
Hi all. Don't post much but lurk quite a bit. Here's my question....

A few years ago I picked up a Custom Kodiak T/D (B handle, #1 limbs). I know it's a Gainesville bow, but don't know much else. It has green limb tips, green stripe, raised silver medallion, stabilizer bushing and a single quiver bushing/cout-out thingy on the lower portion of the riser. The number on the riser is B-2944, number on the limbs is B-2469.

Does anybody know when this bow was made or can anyone point me in the right direction to find out???

That is a "green stripe" made late 80's very early 90's.

Your serial numbers look to be from around 1983-1985 limbs and riser....bowdoc

The single quiver bushing on the lower portion of the grip was early 80's... I thought I remembered reading they were the first ones out of Gainesville and were before the Signature Series were made.

Thanks for the info guys. I remember hearing about the single quiver bushing being from the 80's, just wasn't sure if it was early or late.

Thanks again!!

I agree with Bowdoc...it's an early 80's model.  I like those better then the newer ones.
