public porker #8 for the year

Killed this porker on Ocmulgee wma .I was climbed on some Saw tooth oaks hoping for a deer but I have never been one to let a porker go by. shot was 27 yards and the pig went about 20 after the shot. 51@27 Bob Lee and Magnus I head.Arrow broke the leg on the off side.RC

Nice shot.I finally get to go chase pigs for a few days next week.It is always the highlight of my hunting season because all I get to hunt the rest of the time are those old stinking deer. :)
....Quality deer management means shooting them before they get tough....

You Georgia boys must be overrun with porkers.  How do you guys like to butcher/eat em?

They are starting to show up in PA a little with escaped piggies.  Our game commisison is trapping them and not allowing hunting in certain places cause they believe trapping is the best way to get rid of em.
