Not very many of them these days, comparatively speaking. Easiest way to go that route is a metal riser bow and they aren't as big as comparable heavy wooden risers. I have an old Herters Sambar made of Rosewood, it's huge and heavy no doubt. Seems as though most of the heavy wooden bows are those from yesteryear and were primarily used for target shooting.

The old Bighorn risers actually had lead added to them to make them heavier. Hard to find nowadays

ChekMate Hunter I & Hunter II Recurves. Great bows for the money, and built to be bomb proof.

Wood selection has a lot to do with it. Heavy dense woods like ebony, bloodwood, cocobola etc.... will contribute to making a given design riser heavier.

The TAC Firefly and Tradtech Titan (both metal riser ILF bows) will accept weights that attach to the riser and can be made as heavy as you like.

Timberhawks have a nice big chunky riser-I've owned 3 of them-Scotts quality can be compared with the best!

Get a bow with a metal riser and add as much weight as you like in the places you'd like to add it . . . more or less.
