Stinger broadheads????

I wanted to find out if anyone knows if there was a change to the Singer broadheads. I have 125gr two blades and they have one screw in them. My buddy has 125gr two blades and his has two screws in them. Was there a change and are his stronger than mine? Any info would be great. Thanks, Chris.

My 125 gr 2 blade stingers have one screw. I noticed that the back of the blade on 2 of my Stingers were sharpened but the third was not. When I contacted Magnus they said that they have made some changes and asked that I send back my heads which I did. Try giving them a call.

All mine are 1 screw.

We've got a wall full of new ones and they all have one screw...maybe your buddy's not really shooting Stingers?

Not to hijack this thread, but on most all of my 4 blade stingers, the bleeder blades are loose and rattle, yes I do have the screw tightened down. Anybody else have this problem?

Two arrows, that's nature of the beast. Try putting a small bit of wax in the slot. Not too much though.

Two Arrows, I have had the same problem with rattle. It is the ferrule, not the bleeder blade itself. It can be easily fixed with a drop of fletch-tite on the ferrule near the screw. You can also send them to Magnus and they will replace them, but the glue fix is very easy. I hope they solve this issue soon though.

They've had that rattle since they came out. It's no biggie to take 5 seconds and drop some glue in there. Your buddies with 2 screws was probably a 4 blade without the bleeder. The new 150grn heads have the back edge sharpened and I hope they'll do it to all of their fine heads. Mike

I bought some from 3rivers recently and just checked em. All have one screw,
and
have the back of the blade sharpened. 125g 2-blades.

You might be thinking of the Firstcut broadhead instead of the stinger. It has two screws holding the blade.

I have the four blade 100 grain heads and they have one screw, and I do have one that the bleeder rattles on. My buddy just bought some four blade 125s and his has one screw and the backs of the bleeder and main blades are sharp. Mine just he backs of the bleeders are sharp. They are making improvements to them. All in all they are fantastic heads in my opinion.

Just got a reply from Mike at Magnus. He said that they changed from the two screw model to the one screw model a year or so ago. I guess they beefed up the ferrule so they only need one screw now.
