I just borrowed and watched both I & II. I cannot express how impressed I am with both Dvd's.. Just superb.
Of course both will be in my collection soon.
Is there or will there be a third?

I agree they are both great. They are good ones to have on the rack so you can rewatch or go back to for reference. I heard they are in the process of filming a third one right now so hopefully soon, maybe next year, it will be out. Denny and Darryl do a great job filming and putting these together!!

I have watched these 2 videos to the point that I can quote them. I cannot imagine trying to learn traditional archery over the past year without them. The better I get, the more I enjoy them. I sincerely thank Darryl, Denny and all who participated in these videos.

JDS3,
There will be a third volume. They're working on it now.
From what I've heard it's going to be another winner. Maybe if Denny or Darryl see this post they'll expand on that.
I know I'm looking forward to it.

There is a third in the works, I spoke with Rod Jenkins at ATAR this year and he said that there are only two shooters in this one.

Thanks for the great reviews on Masters Of The Barebow, guys. Yes, we are taking video for Volume 3 right now. I will be editing it this winter. (Starting right after hunting season. LOL) We think it will be the best one yet. It will have more in-depth shooting instruction than the others. Denny and I hope to bring you a valuable training tool that will educate and entertain archers for years to come.
By the way Winterhawk, I can guarantee that Vol. 3 will have more than just two shooters.
Thanks for your interest everyone.

Thank's for the update Darryl. Looking forward to part 3.
I like Darrly's line in Masters 1 where he is describing how he grips the bow! "Like you choke a snake"
Keep the videos coming guy's and I'll keep buying.

I discovered Volume 1 at
SmartFlix
while looking for "Hitting 'Em Like Howard Hill" and I have to echo everyone's sentiments - just a fantastic DVD! It's fun to watch the arrows fly and it's great to hear other shooters talk about their methods. This has infinite replay value as far as I'm concerned. Thanks to Darryl and others involved in this series!

GREAT DVD's, but it's time for Denny to appear and talk about his heavy bows, how he shoots, etc.

Just received and finished Volume 2. They just keep on getting better !
I find all the different styles and techniques very interesting.
This volume I finally found a couple guys I can relate to: Fred Eichler and Steve Fausel.... 'I dunno how...just grip it and rip it !'
Steve has a wonderful classic longbow style. I enjoy watching everyone shoot !
... and I agree, I would like to see Denny on film explaining his techniques..... for shooting, not campfire dancing ! :D
