Check out my new quiver!
« on: October 11, 2008, 03:43:00 PM »
I just got this from HighNoonHunter.(Bobby)
I don't know what kind of leather he used but it's real nice, feels like I've had it for years and it's broke in all ready. These are pics Bobby sent me right before he shipped it. You can wear it like a back quiver or a side quiver(a few different ways)very versatile. I'm going to go stuff it full of arrows now and try wearing it a few different ways and take some more pics.

This is the top end..you can see a little fleece there, it has a cinch cord to hold the arrows tight while walking so they don't rattle.

And this is an Hip Adapter. You thread this through you belt and then strap the quiver to it by it's spine with the provided leather lace.

Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

Well my camerman/wife wasn't around yesterday when I got to playing with it so here are some photos from Bobby's website showing some different ways it can be worn. I love this thing so far. They only negative I can find is the foam needs to be thicker in the cup to hold broadheads more securely. That's about a 2 minute fix as soon as I get my hands on some foam.

Yep, Bobby makes a great quiver.  I'm jealous of the cinch he came up with.  Wasn't making them back when I got mine.  Excellent Quivers!!!  Sweet one Bobby & Mike!

When I saw the first picture I immediately though "this contraption gives the impression that it has been very well thought out."

Looks pretty neat too.

(Okay, I might not think in words that "smart"...but the way I wrote it sure sounds better than the grunts and whistles I usually think in.)

Now that I've had a chance to use it for a couple months I love it! Best dang quiver I've ever tried.
I put a 3" piece of foam in it and now I can bury 4 broadheads in it and then throw an other 1/2 dozen blunts in it. I end up carrying it like a side quiver most of the time because of the thick brush I stump shoot in. It's easy to maneuver though the thick stuff like that and the fleece clinch keeps it quite. It's really light too. I hardly notice it.
