I have found they don't take a glancing blow to a rock very well, but I don't suppose any will.
I like my Alaskans, nice and heavy.

Have had one batch of sitkas that were the toughest thing I ever shot, only broke one after 2 hits on a concrete wall, not on purpose ;-)
the next batch I had, I broke every arrow on things that would not break a cedar arrow. I will not use the sitkas ever again. i was amazed at the difference between the new and old.
