I know nothing about the "collectable" value of it, but do you consider it an investment or a tool?  That will answer your question.

I wouldn't dip a bow that nice, but BobW pretty much nailed it.

I wouldn't dip it but I would probably skin it.

For me this bow is far too good looking as it is to have it dipped.

Why would you dip it? Its dark and not glossy, unless you just like camo!!!

No way....I think camo dip takes away all the character of a bow.  Have you ever seen camo limbs on a tree 8^)???

That bow is beautiful and has character...don't take that away.

I have an MA IV BW that is the "Mossy Oak" version and love it.  I don't think I'd ever dip a bow that beautiful, but mine came from BW this way and I'll never sell it.  I don't abuse my stuff, but I use it for what it was intended.  It has taken a few falls, barb wire, rocks, etc and it still looks great.  I'd hate to say what it would look like if it had a beautiful shiny finish.  I love my dipped bow as a hunting bow.

One question...Why? Unless you like the looks of a camo'd bow there really isn't any reason to do it. The bow looks beautiful now and it isn't going to stop you from being able to shot a deer as it is.

I wouldn't dip that bow and do not think that a camo bow is necessary in most instances. Any color that you would find naturally in the woods will do fine in my experience. I am hunting with my all rosewood longbow this year and it blends in the best of my bows.
