Personally, no. While camo has its benefits I think it is sometimes taken to far. Craig

Are you insane? No way I would ever consider covering up a bow that beautiful! The deer don't care anyway. It is already just another stick to them. On the other hand, we can appreciate the beauty of the bow as it is. Camo is not pretty. I wear it, but I can take it off at night, and that bow looks a whole lot better than I do without camo. I like the leather grip material. Is that beaver tail?

I'm gonna get burned. I would, if thats what you want to do. To me all widows look alike. Except for the X models.

I spend enough time trying to find my bows in the woods without camo dipping them. Now I might consider dipping one in orange camo...

I don't really like the dipped bows. I would not dip yours. IMHO it ruins the true beauty of the bow, and if you wanna get a nice looking limb camo just put some skins on it. Good camo and doesn't take away from the bows appearance.

Well looks like I'm in the minority....
I just had a Super Shrew dipped and also have a real nice MA that has also been done. I love them the way they are now. Very great finish that protects the bow from everything I have been able to throw at it. I have chosen those 2 out of my collection as the "bows that will get the call". Don't get me wrong I do like looking at my "Pretty Ones" [Widow PTFX, TFIII, Griffin, Great Plains{ more than 2}along with 20 or so more.]
It's just a matter of these are the 2 I use in the Woods. IMO they are what "I feel a Working Bow should look like". Others have their feelings too and I respect them. If your asking this question I felt you must actually be considering doing it. If Your interested in what they can look like when done check out the pictures of mine here in Pow Wow tread it's titled Shrew just back from dip tank. It all boils down to your personal choice.

Ranger,
I hunted with a Bear Kodiak Magnum for more than twenty years. It's got a high gloss finish on it that reflects like a mirror. I bought a cotton camo 'sleeves' for it...two camo colored tubes with elastic on each end. Pull one tube down over the top and one up over the bottom of the bow. Now you've got the best of both worlds!!

If I had a bow that ugly, I would start a give away free bow thread. And if I win it, I'll not dip it:)

Camo is not important. Eliminating shine and glare is important.
