A photo of my mate getting "recurve close"...
« on: October 18, 2008, 12:52:00 AM »
G'day,

Here's a little pig that Tony Jensen closed-in on today. He didn't shoot it, as he was actually stalking a few larger ones beyond - it didn't work out. The thing that I found funny was that all along there was a decent pig to his left, but because he was crouched he couldn't see it! Anyway, I thought this was a cool little picture of someone getting "recurve close".

This would make a great computer desktop picture!  Any way you can make a larger version available?

Thanks, fellows. S_McFlurry, it looks okay full-size, but is just starting to struggle a little with fuzziness, as it was cropped. But it would be suitable, so I'll e-mail it to you.

Make a great t-shirt as a Christmas present!  :)

I had to smile...I keep forgetting you "down under" chaps refer to buds as "mates" and, from the title, was expecting a pic of your "significant other" welcomed into the trad archery venue!

Great pic. Scenes like that show why we hunt with sticks and strings.
