EARLY X-MAS GIFT
«

Early Christmas gift arrived today from my son who knows how much I like Osage. So he had Kevin and Sue from RER build me an LXR. They did a fantastic job with an Osage riser with 2 arcs filled with Waterfall Bubinga. The limbs are beautiful picturing Bubinga on the back and Osage on the belly and offsetting limb overlays on the bolt face of Bubinga. Shoots great, and it is quiet, smooth and fast. Recurve is 58" and Long Bow is 60". Here are a few pics that don't even come close of doing true justice:

Glad you like it...can not wait to get home and do some shooting. Really looking forward to heading up to GA for our annual hunt. We will have to get on the 3D range there on the base and shoot a couple rounds as well.
See you in a couple of weeks!

That is absolutely incredible!! The thought behind the gift is OUTSTANDING!!
Now about the bow;
My laptop is smokin due to the elevated drool factor! That figured Bubinga and Osage combo is awesome!! Congrats Larry! Good on you Chris!

Wow! The Bow looks great and you are truly blessed to have a son that recognizes how much you mean to him. He must be really special! Good luck with the bow and I hope that you christen it this season.

Right after posting I had a chance to call home and talk with him about the bow.
All he could say is wait until you see it in person!!! Wait to you get to shoot it!!! I wish the pic's turned out better as it does not do the bow justice one bit!!!
All I can say is thanks Kevin and Sue you two are the best. I have never seen my dad more excited about hunting since he picked up a recurve and now since the LXR arrived he is like a kid in a candy store. Just hope he lets me shoot it.

Wow, that is absolutely stunning! The LXR is a great bow to begin with, and that is one of the prettiest yet. Top it off as about the best gift a father could ever receive...... what a treasure! That's quite a bond you two share. Very cool!
