Need help with arrows
«

I bought myself a deer master recurve by greattree to kill the time before my selfbow staves dry.
I have no idea what to do for arrows. I have 55-70# carbon shafts. What do I do with the plastic vaines? Can I leave them on?
If I should buy wood, what spine for my 50# bow?

Need more info, what is your draw length, bow weight is it cut past center, what type of string FF or dacron? Take the plastic vanes off and fletch with feathers.55/70 carbon may be alittle stiff for a 50# bow,but there are alot of other factors with carbon arrows. They may work, but you may have to add some up front weight to tune them.

Yes you need feathers and 250gr + up front they should be fine. Cheapest route to go before buying lighter shafts.
