Has any one shot or currently own a black mountain bow?(sheepeater spirit or obsidian) How do you like them because I am interested in a very short bow for the tree stand and/or pop-up blind.

I have shot the Sheepeater. It is by far the smoothest short bow i have shot to date.It feels like a much longer bow.Brent is a great guy to boot.If you want a short bow,the sheepeater is the way to go as far as im concerned.I will own one someday. They are just too cool not to.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

best short bow I have ever shot, really good customer service, Brent Rudolf is really good guy to deal with, I'm going turkey hunting with him this spring, I have the sheepeater shaman, its a new model and I have the only one so far, its basicaly a 54in version of the spirit and it can be drawn smoothly to 32in!, its a great bow for those of us with longer draws, also, this is one of the fastest bows I have ever shot, you wont be disapointed
