Does Arrow weight effect Tuning?

I was planning on bareshaft tuning my arrows to get the right arrow length and nocking point today but my weight tubes are not in yet. Could I go ahead and tune in my nocking point and have my arrows cut without worrying about adding the weight tubes effecting the arrow flight?

Wait for the tubes. You want to tune with the exact setup you are going to use including string silencers, bow quivers, etc. If not, you will need to start over.

Are these carbon arrows? I would not cut them until you shoot them first and see how they fly.Just tape on a temporary nock point and worry about setting that later.I would not worry about getting the right length with a carbon arrow, you may or may not get the length you want. With a carbon arrow you pick out a starting static spine and you adjust the dynamic spine by shooting and or trimming and or adding weight up front. And the length you end up with is where I leave it.After you get close to your tune then cut a weight tube to fit and check your bareshaft again to see it the tune is affected.you may need to do some more tuning.I then would fletch up a couple and see how they hit with the bareshaft. Then I would be setting my nocking point with the fletched arrows to get the best flight.
