New bow on order....
« on: October 28, 2008, 08:50:00 AM »
Yup another Black Swan(could you guess I like them?).

Wood riser 3pc. Haven't decided on which limbs yet. Riser will be Padauk, Black Walnut and carbon. Here's the first riser done(a lefty because Arvid is a lefty). Mine should be done shortly and will post pics when I get it.

I have never seen anything like it. Will you be able to play checkers on it?    :)   It looks very nice and will definitely be recognizable if someone tries to walk off with it! Enjoy it.

47 laminations in the riser. Mine will be more subdued in appearance though.    :)

While I like the riser shape I can't agree with everyone on the Color or Configuration  "[dntthnk]"  (Please don't be offended) But I bet it will be a fine shooter. What kind of speed will you get with the arrow wt grain you'll be using?

No offense taken. My colors will be much different than this one. This one was laid up this way to take pictures that would show the multiple laminations that go into it. Mine will be darker and more subdued. Just posted the pic to give folks a first look at the new shape and set-up. At 9gpp my 56" recurve 3pc aluminum riser I have right now is the fastest bow I've ever owned. It is quicker than my 1 pc hybrid, Habu Vyperkahn, and other well known speed bows of which I own/have owned way to many LOL.

That is a very unusual riser there...can not wait to see yours with the more subdued color scheme.
