A Man Made of Elk!
« on: October 28, 2008, 12:08:00 PM »
Oh boy! Something to read while on the eliptical machine. Man that thing is so boring without something like this book to hold my attention. Thanks Dave! Love the cover. Makes me what to open it and jump right in!

Snag..you're in for some good stuff.  You feel like you're walking in the aspens next to him and you also get reflections, observations, etc. in regards to hunting that will really make you think.

Enjoy my friend!!  Oh yeah, and you're getting healthy in the process.  Good for you...

I got to listen to Dave give a talk on elk at the Trad. Archer's of Oregon banquet a few years ago. Really enjoyed it. Glad to see others have good things to say about him and his writing. With winter coming on I think I will be getting some more of his books...any recommendations?

I love his writing! I have "Man made of Elk" and it's a signed copy too. I'll be adding more of his book to my hunting collection soon. I like his stance on ATV as well.
